The EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970) comes into force in June 2026. Companies that are not prepared face significant legal and financial consequences.
All EU member states must transpose the directive into national law by this date. Austria and Germany are finalizing their implementation laws. Companies with 100+ employees will be subject to mandatory pay gap reporting — with the first reports due as early as 2027.
Member states must establish effective, proportionate, and dissuasive sanctions. Fines can be significant and are determined by national law — potentially based on company revenue.
If an employee alleges pay discrimination, YOUR company must prove it doesn't exist. Without documented, objective pay criteria, this is nearly impossible to defend.
Affected employees are entitled to full back pay including bonuses, benefits in kind, and interest. There is no cap on claims — and class actions by employee representatives are possible.
Pay gap reports will be publicly accessible. A visible gender pay gap without objective justification damages your employer brand and makes recruiting harder.
Define your job architecture, salary ranges, and evaluation criteria. Import existing HR data via CSV — guided by our setup wizard.
Automatically calculate gender pay gaps by worker category. The system flags categories that exceed the 5% threshold (Art. 10).
Generate compliance reports for authorities, works councils, and management at the click of a button — as PDF or Excel, aligned with Art. 9.
Document remediation cases, track measures, and capture everything in an audit-proof log — ready for the next reporting cycle.
